Constructed in 1908, the German American Club was once a symbol of Tampa’s discrimination; today it is a symbol of inclusion. The renovation and addition to the historic 16,400 SF building in Ybor City now serves as the Tampa headquarters for Metro Inclusive Health and CAN Community Health. These nonprofits provide full-service healthcare with a focus on HIV, the LGBTQ+ community, the under-insured, and the uninsured.
